SSP Health is a large provider of primary care services in the North West of England, one of only 3 organisations in England serving more than 100,000 patients. The firm is run by Dr Shikha Pitalia, who has been a GP in a family practice with her father Dr Saksena and sister Dr Maini in St Helens since 1991,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.sthelensccg.nhs.uk/About_Us/Our_Governing_Body.aspx )〕 and her husband Sanjay. It took over 22 practices in Liverpool and Sefton in 2013, adding to the 17 practices it was already running. The firm has been criticised by Bill Esterson MP because of problems with the practices at surgeries in Freshfield, Hightown, Thornton and Parkhaven where, he says, the firm has only employed locum staff, and there are difficulties in getting appointments. Six SSP medical centres were inspected by the Care Quality Commission in 2015. Seaforth Village Surgery, Hightown Surgery and Kensington Park Surgery were deemed ‘inadequate’, the worst possible ranking, while Maghull Practice was told it ‘requires improvement’. Everton Road Surgery and the Thornton Practice were judged to be ‘good’. The Local Medical Committee said that the contracts put out to tender by Liverpool PCT required the provider to deliver 70 appointments per 1,000 patients per week which was not deliverable. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「SSP Health」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
